ShapeScale uses advanced 3D scanning technology to create a detailed digital model of the your body. This information is then processed and uploaded into the cloud, where ShapeScale's algorithms analyze your body composition, measurements, and shape. The app simplifies comparing the changes in your body over time showing the results of your hard work.

ShapeScale uses advanced 3D scanning technology to create a detailed digital model of the user's body. The key components are:
ShapeScale employs a depth camera powered by Intel RealSense technology. This camera uses stereo vision principles, similar to human binocular vision, to perceive depth accurately.
When a user stands on the ShapeScale platform, a robotic arm equipped with the RealSense camera system rotates around them. The depth sensor captures a dense depth map, where each pixel represents the distance from the camera to a specific point on the body.
Simultaneously, a high-resolution color camera captures images at 4208x3120 pixels.
ShapeScale's software synchronizes the depth data with the color information to generate a point cloud - a set of data points in 3D space representing the surface of the body. This results in a colored 3D representation comprising over 15 million points, accurate to within a millimeter.
The raw data is securely uploaded to the Shape Cloud, where powerful algorithms refine it to create a photorealistic 3D model of the user's body.
