LED light therapy should be undertaken when the skin is clean – after removing makeup and thoroughly cleansing the skin, and before you apply any serums, moisturizers or treatments.
Are lotions or skin oils okay to use before Red Light Therapy?
It is recommended that you do not apply any lotions or oil before receiving red light therapy. This can reduce the ability of the red light from penetrating the skin.
